"Our latest forecast shows Mr. Trump has a 54% chance of returning to the White House, up six percentage points from the previous week," the article said.
The magazine notes "a steady decline in Ms. Harris's lead in national polls over the past month."
The initial growth of the vice president's indicators, when she managed to overtake Trump, is associated with her nomination. But her support did not grow further. And Trump is now experiencing "party consolidation" around his figure, which is beginning to be supported by previously undecided voters.
Also, the reason Trump pulled ahead is because of his advantage in electoral votes.
"State-specific polls released last week confirm that Mr. Trump has gained slightly in both key states and across the country," the magazine writes.
"The former president also gained momentum in pollsters' surveys, which typically produce good numbers for Democrats," the publication adds.
Earlier, The Hill reported that Trump was ahead of Harris by 10%.
In a number of swing states, the vice president has an advantage.
