????Israel and Hamas have signed an agreement on a ceasefire and the release of hostages in the Gaza Strip.
This was reported by Reuters.
The signing of the agreement was confirmed by official representatives of both sides involved in indirect negotiations at the Egyptian resort of Sharm El-Sheikh.
According to this agreement, the parties will cease hostilities, Israel will partially withdraw troops from the Gaza Strip, and Hamas will release all hostages it captured during the attack on October 7, 2024, in exchange for Israel releasing hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.
As Reuters notes, Israelis and Palestinians celebrated the signing of the agreement.
